DefenseMonkees works with a team of instructors (12+) dedicated to safe, enjoyable, and educational classes. Instructors adapt intensity to student level and keep ego out of the room.

## Certifications

- **All instructors** complete the internal **DefenseMonkees Basic Instructor Course (BIC)** and meet strict admission requirements (including demonstrable martial arts experience).
- **Many instructors** also hold a certification from **KMG (Krav Maga Global)**, an international Krav Maga federation.

## Who trains with us

Classes include civilians as well as many members from **police and the military (defensie)**. Training is scenario- and stress-oriented, not sport competition.
